Article mainly describing how The City of the Angels was rebuilt. Very beautiful photos of the rebuilt aircraft.

Since this was first published, we received this by email:
Mr. Evans was my teacher at Taipei American School in Taipei, Taiwan in 1975 and 1976. I used to visit Mr. and Mrs. Evans on the weekend and they gave me lunch. In his class at school, he showed black and white film that he took from the cockpit of him flying the plane. It was very cool. He was kind of like a grandpa to me. (It's a different kind of community with a bunch of expats.) I even remember sitting on his lap! His wife was so beautiful. In 1976, he had a heart attack. While he was in the hospital, I made cookies and took them to him when I visited. He had another heart attack shortly after and died. I still think about him and his wife a lot. I am so thankful for the Internet because of the information you can find. I knew that he was a Flying Tiger and that he flew around the world, but I didn't know all the details.
Thank you!
