From the flight of young Baron Koenig-Warthausen in 1929, to the turn of the century, 55 solo flights among a total of 205 world flights have been made :
  • 73 in twin-engine aircraft,
  • 121 in single-engine aircraft, (of which 10 were amateur-built),
  • 7 in helicopters,
  • and 2 in balloons and airships.
  • There are 55 solo flights. 6 women and 49 men make up these 55 solo pilots, who flew a total of 47 single-engine aircraft and 8 twins
There is a great majority of Eastbound flights. One flight went through both Poles and 2 via the North Pole.
